The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The Assassination Records Review Board was an independent federal agency created to oversee the identification and release of records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The Review Board was established by the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection act of 1992 (PL 102-526), and was signed into law by George Bush. The five members of the Board were appointed by President Clinton, confirmed by the United States Senate, and sworn in on April 11, 1994. Having until October 1, 1996 to fulfill its mandate, plus an additional year at the Board's discretion to complete its responsibilities, the Board was terminated in September of 1998 following the issuance of its Final Report.
