We are uncovering how some federal agencies are spending your money. OpenTheBooks has tracked spending and found that the pentagon is one of many federal agencies that spent a third of their budget in the final month of the fiscal year.

The pentagon spent $4.6 million on lobster tail and snow crab. OpenTheBooks also found $2.1 million was spent on hotels and $1.6 million was spent on uncharted air travel.

This is shaping up to be the biggest extravaganza of taxpayer waste ever.
